Had a blast exploring the area for water adventures, and even did some scuba diving. Loved the terrace with great views of the city, and the shared kitchen was handy for preparing meals. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Oh, and of course I just loved not having a refrigerator in the room and having to share a kitchen with strangers. So fun!

The hotel had a lovely traditional-style decor that reminded me of the old houses in the area. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easy access to all the facilities and amenities. The hotel's architecture and ambiance made it a pleasant place to stay.
I would have appreciated a few more electrical plugs in the room. It would have been helpful for senior guests like myself who have multiple devices to charge.

Our stay at Wake Up In Tarifa was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at home. The hostel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the beautiful city of Tarifa. The hostel itself is a stunning building with traditional Muslim-style architecture, adding a unique touch to the experience. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners, Gonzalo and Amparo, were incredibly friendly and always ready to offer helpful advice about Tarifa and its surroundings. The WiFi worked perfectly, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. we had a fantastic time at Wake Up In Tarifa and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the Spanish lifestyle.
We did experience a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. The air conditioning was not working, which made the rooms quite hot.

We had the best time with my friends exploring the area. We went horse riding and had a blast snorkeling. Plus, the hostel had cable TV, so we spent the evenings chilling and watching our favorite shows. And guess what? We didn't miss out on anything because the WiFi was super fast. They even organized bike rental for us, so we could explore the city like locals. Such a rad experience!
Only thing missing was a proper party scene at the hostel. It would have been awesome if they had organized some epic parties for us young party animals.
